MIXTAPE REVIEW: LIMBO Mixtape By Sparks

Mixtape Title: LIMBO

Artiste: SPARKS

Something Akin to MI’s Illegal Music Mixtape series, Sparks does well on the samples of RENEGADE and SPEAKERS GOING HAMMER (Lyrical Weyrey I and II)

However what catches my attention on this mixtape is the SAM OKWARAJI Track. The title caught my attention (as an ardent fan of football) so I went straight to that one. Really impressed. He diversified a bit in the track, a bit of singing, the beat was pretty much okay, but his delivery and concept of the song make this my favourite track on the mixtape.

The Lyrical Weyrey track was Standard at best, the typical rap mash up, and Sparks held his own up against the relatively more established Redkad. Same goes to the 9JASPARKER track.

The FANTASY track however got me a little confused. Too much singing (which I don’t think is his Forte). Artiste was trying to pull a Kid Cudi or Kanye West.. Wasn’t so successful in my opinion.

In General, Lyrically sound enough. Just needs more work on his delivery
